What You Need Live Streaming Location

Finding a appropriate home for your meetings and events is important. A quiet, well lit room with with ample public seating is a great place to start.

Depending on your set up you'll need 2-6 standard grounded electric outlets.

Electric

Your High Speed Internet connection can be cable, DSL or fiber. To keep your streaming smooth and glitch-free, a dedicated line is best.

High Speed Internet

A simple fixed focus video camera is a great low budget starting point but our encoder can accommodate just about any camera configuration. The camera does not need a built in microphone. We'll get sound from your Audio System.

Camera

Chances are you already have a audio system in place. Usually there is no need to change your audio set-up. A cable from your audio board to the encoder is generally all that is needed. If you are starting from scratch or upgrading, North Coast is available to help you with the transition.

Audio

This is where the magic begins. Our included encoder takes the video out from your camera or optional switcher and the audio from your microphone or audio mixer and converts the signals for efficient streaming.

Is the encoder portable?

Sure, the North Coast Encoder is light weight and easy to move but most find it more convenient to set it up once and forget it. Once the encoder is up and going North Coast will remotely monitor your system to ensure trouble-free streaming.

You'll need only a few inexpensive 'over the counter' A/V cables to connect the audio and video to the encoder.
